Herbal Medicine for Uncertain Times

A month long exploration of herbs for anxiety, grief, fear, and held trauma. 

WHEN/WHERE: Sundays from 12-1:30 pm (Pacific Time) for the month of February (February 2, 9, 16, 23, 2022). Online via Zoom. 

EXCHANGE: $450 total covers: weekly participation, plant notes, 12 handcrafted sample tinctures of each herb for tasting, and Canada-wide shipping of herbs. The tinctures are ethically wildcrafted or organically grown by Ada.

WHAT: This is a month long exploration of the power of plants in transforming our spirit and supporting us as needed. Each week we will focus on 3 plants (grown in BC or ethically wildcrafted), and go through a drum journey, guided meditation, and how to use. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect to plants and awaken your inner intuitive gifts, as well as heal patterns through new plant friendships. 

Week 1 (Feb 2): Understanding emotion (energy in motion), introduction to the power of plants, plant spirits. Herbs for anxiety.

Week 2 (Feb 9): Herbs for grief.

Week 3 (Feb 16): Herbs for fear.

Week 4 (Feb 23): Held trauma and herbs. 

Introduction to Astrology: The Planets and Charting

A 2 week journey into healing our relation to self and others through understanding and remembering of who we are (star beings). 

WHEN/WHERE: Sundays from 12-1:30 pm (Pacific Time) January 15th and January 22nd, 2022. online via Zoom. 

EXCHANGE: $100 total.

WHAT: The scope of this workshop is to cultivate an understanding of who we are and who those closest to us are as a reflection of their star chart, so that we may show up in a more compassionate way when the time arises. As above so below. 

Week 1 (Jan 15): Introduction to astrology as ancient practice. Introduction to the signs.

Week 2 (Jan 22): Introduction to the planetary rulers. Personal charting & cultivating compassion.

Plant Spirit Medicine - 3 Month Intensive (PNW Plants Edition!)

A 3 month journey to (re)familiarize yourself with your most ancient ancestors, plant spirits!


WHEN/WHERE: Saturdays from 12-1:30 pm (Pacific Time) from February 6th to April 24th. via Zoom (Canadian participants only due to herb mailing)


EXCHANGE: $450 total covers: weekly participation, plant notes, 11 handcrafted sample tinctures of each herb for tasting, and Canada-wide shipping of herbs. The tinctures are ethically wildcrafted or organically grown by Ada.
+There is an option of weekly drop-in for $45. This covers the herb tincture as well. This option is only available for YYJ folx so that they may get their herbs on time.

WHAT: Each week we will focus on a plant growing abundantly in the Pacific Northwest of Canada and go through a drum journey, guided meditation, Ada’s personal uses, how to use, plant attributes (including astrological), and growing conditions. This is a really great opportunity to connect to wild plants often overlooked by traditional Western herbalists, awaken your inner intuitive gifts, and communicate with other consciousness in a safe space.

Herbs & Nutrition for Healthy Babies (Pregnancy, Labour, Postpartum)


WHEN/WHERE: February 27, 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. via Zoom. International folx welcome!

EXCHANGE: $30/per person

WHAT: This course is intended to help mamas reclaim the ancient ways. For millennia mamas have eaten specific foods and taken specific herbs for healthier babies and easier labour. The course will cover: ancestral foods and healthy babes, herbal medicine throughout pregnancy, herbs for labour, and herbs for postpartum/the lactation period. Herb safety will be discussed as well as dosage.
